Alpha Dhabi Holdings, ADH, an active and strategic contributor to the economy of the United Arab Emirates and a platform offering potential for progress and growth in the fields of construction, healthcare, hospitality, industry and investment in promising sectors,has announced the start of the first hiring round which intends to take on board 2,500 citizens over the course of the next five years through the Nafis program, in celebration of the Golden Jubilee of the United Arab Emirates.
This initiative is part of the company’s vision and is in line with the “Projects of the 50” strategy of the United Arab Emirates and its active contribution to the federal program for raising the competitiveness of UAE citizens and empowering them to fill jobs in private sector enterprises through the Nafis program.
As a way of attracting citizens who want to work and have the capabilities, skills and expertise, the company recently held a career day during which an elite group of talented and promising UAE nationals were chosen to fill a number of professional positions in the companies of Alpha Dhabi Holding, with the newly on-boarded UAE nationals set to commence work after the UAENational Day holiday.
His Excellency Ghannam Al Mazrouei, Secretary-General of the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council, said: “Based on our leadership’s vision that aims to consolidate the UAE’s professional talent pool and expand UAE’s citizens’ contribution to the development of the economic sector, the Nafis program was launched with the objective of increasing the competitiveness of the UAE workforce, supporting talented people and enabling them to fill 75,000 jobs in private sector institutions over the next five years. The program has many initiatives aimed at supporting the UAE workforce’s contribution to the private sector and giving them training and skill-building opportunities with the institutions participating in the program.”
