The General Administration of Abu Dhabi Customs has won eight accolades in the Middle East and North Africa Stevie Awards, one of the most prestigious regional awards in the field of recognition and honoring achievements in the business sector for outstanding companies, institutions, and services.
Abu Dhabi Customs received four gold awards in the categories of innovative use of technology in human resources by government agencies; innovation in customer service management, planning and practice for government agencies; achievement in the innovative product obtained by the innovative project smart inspection; and government champion award for 2022.
The General Administration of Customs received two silver awards in the categories of government’s innovation excellence for 100 or more employees; and innovative human resources achievement. It also received two bronze awards in the categories of government’s response to health and safety measures; and innovation in government human resources management, planning, and practice.
Rashed Lahej Al Mansouri, Director-General of the General Administration of Abu Dhabi Customs, said the department seeks to participate in international and regional awards to reflect and achieve the vision and directions of good leadership in promoting the prestigious position occupied by Abu Dhabi International, which has become a model for development, progress, and prosperity, highlighting that winning eight awards in the Categories of The Middle East and North Africa Stevie Awards is a new achievement in addition to Abu Dhabi’s track record of international successes and awards, while at the same time embodying the international awards.
“Abu Dhabi Customs is constantly working to adopt smart initiatives based on the employment of innovation and creativity in various sectors of customs work, which corresponds to its strategy for comprehensive digital transformation,” he also added.
