Umm Al Emarat Park Welcomes A New Season Of Community, Culture And Family Experiences

Umm Al Emarat Park, the largest green space in the heart of Abu Dhabi, is welcoming visitors to a new season of experiences, bringing the community together through a vibrant programme of entertainment, culture, education, wellness and family-friendly activities.

Building on its role as a place where people of all ages can connect, learn and spend meaningful time together, the new season will bring back some of the Park’s most popular experiences alongside new collaborations with leading organisations across Abu Dhabi.

Kicking off the season on 2 October, Cinema in the Park returns with family-friendly films every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6-9 PM. Set against the Park’s natural surroundings, the recurring weekend experience gives families and friends another reason to come together and enjoy Abu Dhabi’s cooler months outdoors.

Another much-loved favourite, The Park Market, returns on 23 October, transforming the Park into a lively weekend destination for shopping, food and community experiences. Taking place every Friday and Saturday from 4:00PM to 10:00PM throughout the season, the market provides a platform for SMEs and local businesses to connect directly with the community while giving visitors the opportunity to discover homegrown concepts, enjoy delicious food and shop for unique finds.

Throughout October, the Park Market will spotlight the values of Kindness & Giving, encouraging visitors, vendors and the wider community to embrace the spirit of giving and contribute positively to the community through meaningful experiences and initiatives at the Park.

Businesses and entrepreneurs interested in joining The Park Market this season still have the opportunity to participate as paid vendors and showcase their concepts to the Park’s diverse community of visitors. SMEs can register their interest here.

Putting community wellbeing at the heart of the season

This October, Umm Al Emarat Park will bring together a series of community health and wellbeing initiatives, reinforcing its commitment to supporting the wider Abu Dhabi community.

On 9 October, the Park will host a public blood donation drive in collaboration with SEHA and Al Rahba Hospital, taking place from 4:00PM to 9:00PM and inviting members of the community to donate blood and contribute to this important cause.

The Park will also support Pinktober 2026, helping raise awareness around breast cancer screening and preventative health. On 23 and 24 October, Burjeel Holdings will bring a mammogram truck to the Park alongside free health check-ups, making important health services more accessible within a welcoming community setting.

Continuing the programme on 30 October, Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City will host a dedicated community activation featuring a mammogram truck, walkathon, free giveaways and health-focused activities, encouraging visitors to prioritise their health and wellbeing while supporting an important cause.

Art and culture come to the Park

From 30 October to 1 November, visitors can discover a first-of-its-kind Guggenheim Abu Dhabi Pop-Up at Shade House Lawn, bringing art, culture and creativity into the heart of the Park. The three-day programme will introduce visitors to Emirati artist Mohammed Kazem and his iconic Directions series through talks, workshops and interactive activities designed for the wider community.

The programme will include talks exploring Kazem’s artistic practice, an interactive Place and Perception activity, a hands-on mapping workshop inspired by his use of geographical data, and a public pop quiz and giveaways. Taking place from 11:00AM to 8:00PM daily, the pop-up offers an engaging way for visitors of different ages to connect with Emirati art and explore their own relationship with place, memory and shared spaces.

Learning beyond the classroom

Education will remain a central pillar of Umm Al Emarat Park’s new season, building on the Park’s approach of combining learning with exploration and outdoor experiences. Last season, its tailored school programmes covered areas including animal and desert life, sustainability, heritage, ecosystems and the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

For the 2026–27 season, the Park will once again welcome schools through a range of tailored educational programmes designed for different age groups, encouraging students to discover nature, sustainability, Emirati heritage and the environment through interactive experiences outside the classroom.

The Animal Barn pop-up is back this season at Umm Al Emarat Park. Guests can experience the thrill of meeting and interacting with friendly animals, enjoy feeding sessions for AED 10 only, and take pony and camel rides for just AED 15, as well as take photos and engage in conversations with their keepers.

For the Park’s more energetic young visitors, BOUNCE returns to Umm Al Emarat Park from 1 October, bringing its popular freestyle experience back for another season. Children can join the BOUNCE Vibe Tribe, put their jumping skills to the test on the giant inflatable airbag, learn new tricks with guidance from BOUNCE tribe members, and snap a photo with BINC, BOUNCE’s mascot and Progression Master. Whether trying something new or building their skills, the experience offers young visitors an energetic way to have fun and stay active outdoors.

The Park is open daily from 8:00AM to 12:00 midnight, with last entry at 11:00PM. Entry tickets are priced at just AED 10, giving visitors access to all activities and facilities. Purchase your ticket here: https://ummalemaratpark.ae/en/Tickets-and-Loyalty-Programs.
