The United Arab Emirates, Co-Host of the 2026 United Nations Water Conference alongside Senegal, has unveiled the site map for The Oasis, a UAE-hosted space at the 2026 UN Water Conference, and opened applications for organisations to host side events during the Conference.
Taking place at ADNEC, Abu Dhabi, from 8–10 December 2026, The Oasis will be a free-to-attend space open to everyone, bringing together diverse voices and sectors to exchange ideas, forge partnerships, showcase solutions, and advance action on water.
The Oasis will also provide opportunities for announcements, launches, and signing ceremonies during the three-day Conference. Registration is free and open to the public, professionals, organisations, and media through a single registration process.
The newly unveiled site map provides a first look at the spaces and experiences that will bring The Oasis to life across the three days, including The Oasis Main Stage, which can accommodate approximately 600 participants, immersive exhibitions and pavilions, national and partner spaces, networking areas, and youth and innovation experiences.
Applications open for side events at The Oasis
Governments, businesses, investors, innovators, civil society organisations, academics, youth groups, and other stakeholders are now invited to submit proposals for a limited number of side events at The Oasis.
Proposals are encouraged from organisations with conversations, partnerships, commitments, innovations, or solutions that can help accelerate progress on SDG 6.
Side events may take the form of roundtables, panels, showcases, workshops, signing ceremonies, announcements, or similar formats, with convening spaces available for approximately 50–70 or 150–200 participants.
Applications are open to all organisations, regardless of UN accreditation status. Proposals are encouraged to bring diverse voices together, translate ideas into action, and build partnerships for the future.
Applications close on 23 October 2026, with selected programmes to be notified by 1 November 2026.
More ways to participate
Organisations interested in playing a wider role in The Oasis can also explore partnership, exhibition, and country pavilion opportunities. These opportunities provide different ways for organisations to showcase solutions and innovation, engage with stakeholders, build partnerships, and contribute to the programme across the three days of the Conference.
Expressions of interest are now open.
