Mermaid School returns to Yas Waterworld with the promise of fulfilling more fantasy moments across the UAE. Every week until 29th September, the region’s favourite waterpark welcomes aspiring mermaids to take part in classes created with the hopes and dreams of those little ones in mind.
First introduced in April, Mermaid School welcomed children as they eagerly lined up to be the first to discover how to glide through the water with the ease and grace of a mermaid. Committed to bringing back guests’ favourite experiences, Yas Waterworld will introduce an assortment of class options led by an accomplished team of experts. In an atmosphere that’s sure to create a tidal wave of fun, first timers will learn the secrets of swimming underwater like their favourite mythical creature. Returning mermaids-to-be will get the chance to perfect their skills, as they slip on their colourful mer-tails for more underwater adventures.

Classes will run throughout the week, with both weekday and weekend options available including ‘Mommy & Me’ classes and ‘Ladies Night Mermaid’.For one full hour, children aged 6 and above will enter a captivating world as they experience all of the allure that comes along with swapping out their legs for fins. For guests of Mermaid School, complimentary use of tail during the session is available. For anyone looking to take home a treasured memento, tails are also available for purchase.
Tickets to Mermaid School must be purchased in advance. Guests can opt for a one-day class option, or enjoy weeks of Mermaid School fun with the unlimited pass.
- AED 95 for Annual Pass holders, including complimentary tail use during the session
- AED 195 per guest for Mermaid School, including complimentary tail use during the session, and access to all of Yas Waterworld’s rides, slides, and attractions for the remainder of the day
- AED 495 per guest for unlimited pass for Mermaid School, including complimentary tail use during each session

Timings:
Tuesdays: 4:00 pm –5:00pm
Thursdays*: 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Fridays and Saturdays**: 10:00 am – 11:00 am and 11:15 am – 12:15 am
*Thursday night sessions are held during Ladies Nights (open only to female guests).
**Weekend sessions will be split by age groups: 6-8 years and 9+ years at 10:00-11:00, and 6-8 years and ‘Mommy & Me’ at 11:15-12:15.
