Employees of the Abu Dhabi Department of Energy (DoE) signed the ‘Covenant for Million Tolerant’ at the DoE headquarters today. The ‘Covenant’ is a community initiative launched by the Zayed House for Islamic Culture to mark the Year of Tolerance in the UAE; it targets all segments of the community.
“Tolerance is a prominent characteristic of Emirati society,” said the DoE’s Undersecretary His Excellency Eng. Mohammed Juma bin Jarsh Al Falasi. “Designating 2019 as the Year of Tolerance in the UAE is a unique initiative, whereby our wise leadership succeeded in reflecting a very positive image of the people of the United Arab Emirates to the world. Today, our team joins the campaign, in a show of commitment to promoting tolerance and establishing it as part of the Department’s culture.”
