Since its inception in 2012, the Abu Dhabi Festival Award, presented in association with Chopard has become a symbol of cultural excellence. Her Excellency Huda Ibrahim Al Khamis, Founder of Abu Dhabi Music & Arts Foundation and the Abu Dhabi Festival, presented the award to the world-renowned Chinese pianist, Lang Lang, in recognition of his exceptional contributions to music, culture and artistic excellence. The award pays tribute to the legendary Lang Lang, an extraordinary person and a humanitarian pioneer whose philanthropic work with UNICEF as a Goodwill Ambassador has allowed him to touch people’s hearts all over the world.
