The hotel guest night revenues across the Emirate of Abu Dhabi increased 22 percent during July 2018 as compared to June of the same year, according to the Statistics Centre- Abu Dhabi (SCAD).
SCAD estimated the YoY growth at 4.5 percent and attributed it to the robust tourist infrastructure boasted by Abu Dhabi in terms of attractive recreational facilities and rates.
Prices rose 1.6 percent during July 2018 against June, with the YoY pricing growth hitting 5.4 percent by the end of July against the same month in 2017.
Across all hotel establishments in the emirate, average night pricing rose 4 percent in July as compared to June of the same year, while the YoY pricing dropped by 6.2 percent.
According to SCAD figures, there are around 163 hotel establishments in the emirate, including hotels, resorts and serviced apartments, with more recreational facilities expected to be operational over the coming period.
