Capital 360 Event Experiences in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council has delivered the third edition of the Abu Dhabi Summer Sports (ADSS) and Al Ain Summer Sports (AASS), providing an unparalleled experience in health and wellness, with a variety of offerings that cater to everyone, irrespective of age or fitness level. Running from June 14 to August 23 at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi and from July 7 to August 25 at ADNEC Centre Al Ain, this year’s event has already been the most inclusive and engaging edition yet.
Under the campaign ‘Choose Health, Choose Life’, the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) is offering a comprehensive suite of health check-ups at ADSS and AASS. For UAE nationals with Thiqa cards, SEHA is providing Ifhas screening, ensuring thorough health assessments. Additionally, visitors can take advantage of body mass analysis, dietician consultations, and podiatry screenings, reinforcing ADSS and AASS commitment to fostering a healthier community.
Spanning over 40,000 square metres between the two venues, the 2024 edition offers vibrant sporting hubs, providing a comprehensive and inclusive environment, featuring sports courts, wellness zones, and entertainment areas. This expansive event is designed to promote a healthy lifestyle and enhance community spirit, offering activities that range from football and padel to badminton, basketball, volleyball, tennis, and cricket. The Technogym functional fitness zone, a one kilometre running track, table tennis, a cycling zone, and an inflatable obstacle course are all available for visitors to explore and enjoy.
For those looking to unwind and rejuvenate, both centres present a wellness programme that includes customised training, mindfulness exercises, and a dedicated recovery zone. This holistic approach ensures that visitors can enjoy a balanced mix of physical activity and relaxation.
ADSS and AASS is not just for the athletically inclined. It also serves as an ideal venue for family gatherings, corporate events, and staycations at local hotels. The newly introduced kids’ summer camps, running from Monday to Friday throughout the summer, offers a diverse range of activities from sports to arts and crafts, promoting creativity, learning, and a healthy lifestyle in a fun and engaging environment.
