One of Dubai’s most successful homegrown luxury brands – Carter & White – will once again be showcasing its stunning luxury bespoke bed linen and bath collections at Abu Dhabi International Boat Show (ADIBS) from 16-19 October.
It is also using the event to launch its exciting new scent ‘Esprit du Lin’ – a yacht fragrance (diffuser) for boat lovers.
The scent is described as: “light, floral and fresh as the sea.” A new fragrance launch is always especially exciting in the luxury segment, and Carter & White says Espirit du Lin has been created specifically to appeal to boat owners.
It has been an exciting year overall for the company. Just recently, the Dubai-born label pulled in the crowds at the prestigious Cannes Yachting Festival when it unveiled a selection of high-end new products, including yacht table runners, table mats, and napkins – all made from crisp, 100 percent linen.
At Cannes, Carter & White also showcased its charming New-Born Collection and the exclusive Towel Collection, a handmade mixture of cotton and linen towels in super-luxurious white fabric with black linen fabrics on the edge. And the whole team is enjoying the company’s soaring profile, says the owner.
“We started the year with Dubai International Boat Show in the UAE, we travelled to the Kuwait Boat Show, the Cannes Yachting Festival, and we are closing 2019 with ADIBS in the UAE,” said Marwan Al Serkal, Founder of Carter & White
“It’s amazing to start at home and close the year back home, this shows how important this exhibition is for the UAE and for the region. We are happy with the reach we have had this year in terms of number of people who visited us during the shows, who asked about us in the shows, or bought our products from the shows.
“We are thrilled to now be an international brand, focusing not only on this region but global markets as well. I think we are covering a very specific segment for future customers. What we believe in is to have the best customer experience during the visit to our stand, and exceptional products that anyone can see.”
He added: “Abu Dhabi International Boat Show is an important market; there are many boat lovers in the UAE capital and they have boats not only in Abu Dhabi, but also in South of France, Italy and Spain. It’s a huge space that we intend to capture.”
Carter & White first came to notice in 2016 for creating exquisite custom-made bed linens, whereby clients can choose from 400 thread count Giza cotton at around Euro 800 – all the way up to 1,200 thread count Giza cotton for around Euro 15,000.
Buyers can have items created just the way they desire – choosing the colour of duvet covers, bed linens and stitching – while initials can be stitched on to the pillows as an exclusive extra touch.
