Etihad Aviation Group (EAG) hosted an event at Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) headquarters this week, in order to strengthen and promote the partnership between the two organisations. ADNOC employees were exclusively invited to the event which took place in the specially created Etihad Garden at the landmark ADNOC tower on the Abu Dhabi Corniche between 30 and 31 October.
Attendees enjoyed the beautiful garden setting and themed stalls featuring games, prizes and special offers. Etihad Airways showcased its inflight product range including the striking Acqua di Parma amenity kits, and offered food tastings of its highly regarded inflight dining menu. Etihad Holidays offered the latest leisure packages as well as promoted Abu Dhabi based activities including the new pearl diving experience. A dedicated Etihad Airways Formula One Abu Dhabi Grand Prix stall was featured highlighting the UAE’s flagship sporting event, while the airline’s Cargo division offered ADNOC staff discounts. A number of Etihad cabin crew and pilots also attended to support the initiative.
This year, the two Abu Dhabi based organisations also collaborated to launch a series of bespoke aircraft liveries paying tribute to ADNOC’s key international trading markets, industry partners and destinations served by the airline. The companies also joined forces to launch the hugely popular ‘Fuel Up and Fly Off’ promotion offering ADNOC customers the chance to win Etihad flights every time they fill up their car.
