HudayriyatIsland, Abu Dhabi’s premier sports and leisure hub developed by Modon, is gearing up to host the inaugural edition of the 321Sports Indoor Rowing Championship.
Indoor rowing has been widely used as an off-the-water training tool for rowers. Over time, it has grown into a competitive sport in its own right.
Set within the state-of-the-art space of 321Sports Dome, the largest indoor sports dome in the MENA region,the competition will feature five one-hour heats with separate categories for women and men.
Indoor rowers of all levels –from seasoned athletes to fitness aficionados – are invited to register for the championship, where teams of two will test their prowess on Concept2 rowers in a relay format to achieve the best time for completing 10,000 metres.
The winning teams in each category will receive various prizes worth up to AED5,000, including a membership valued at AED1575 at reSTART Pro that provides cutting-edge sports recovery services, and passes to Circuit X.
