The Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development has held a stakeholder workshop, titled the Future Foresight Workshop, with attendees from the governmental, financial and corporate sectors of the UAE, focusing on key opportunities and challenges for the upcoming decade, and anticipating action that can enhance local entrepreneurial activity.
Speaking on the workshop, Mouza Al Nasri, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Khalifa Fund, commented: “For SMEs to flourish over the course of the next decade, it is vital that we discuss the current conditions of the entrepreneurial sector currently, be that from a demographic or economic perspective. Through workshops such as these, we can ensure a unified and comprehensive approach to future challenges for the SME sector across respective government departments.”
The Future Foresight Workshop was held as part of the Khalifa Fund’s participation in the Abu Dhabi Award for Excellence in Government Performance. The Khalifa Fund participates in the award as part of its commitment to operational excellence, alongside ensuring alignment with other respective departments of the Abu Dhabi government.
