As part of its commitment to creating engaging experiences for its community, Louvre Abu Dhabi has unveiled summer activities for young explorers: the Summer ArtLab and Space Camp, scheduled for July.
The Summer ArtLab is a four-day program for young art enthusiasts aged 13-25. Inspired by artworks within Louvre Abu Dhabi’s permanent collection, exhibitions and architecture, the programme focuses on themes of storytelling, identity, and self-expression. Participants will explore portraits representing various identities, reflect on the journey from figuration to abstraction, and create their own expressionist self-portrait paintings. They will also delve into body language, experimenting with forms and movement using diverse materials. The program aims to ignite interest in art and foster creativity, delivering an unforgettable artistic experience.
