After a hugely successful show in Dubai at Studio Seven Art Gallery and at Xposure Photography Festival in Sharjah; Mobeen Ansari now heads to the Capital.
Etihad Modern Art Gallery is set to host the final showcase of “Conversations through Centuries”, a collection of 36 images by the celebrated photojournalist’s Mobeen Ansari; the event will be inaugurated by H.E. Ghulam Dastgir the Pakistani Ambassador of UAE; other dignitaries attending include H.E. Can Dizdar Ambassador of Turkey in UAE and Samar Bushnaq the Cultural Affairs Officer, Chancery in Abu Dhabi. The exhibition commences on Monday 30th of September at 6:00pm till 10:00pm it will also include an exclusive Book Signing of “White in the Flag”.
Mobeen says, “Exhibiting for the first time in the UAE has been a very reflective experience as this was a fantastic opportunity to show my work and connect with a global audience. I thoroughly enjoyed engaging with people who have visited my Dubai and Sharjah shows, the process has allowed me to appreciate the kind of photographs that people are drawn to. As a photojournalist, what gives me the greatest joy is my ability to travel to remote and places which are hard to access, capture their stories and bring them to the world and enjoy the various interpretations of these stories.”
Mobeen Ansari is exhibiting in Abu Dhabi on Monday 30th of September from 6:00pm onwards at Etihad Modern Art Gallery. Even though, these exhibitions will be a first showcase of Mobeen’s work in the UAE; he is no stranger to the world stage, his works have been exhibited in Canada, China, Italy, India, Iraq, Pakistan, Qatar, United States, Switzerland and UK.
