It’s next stop Abu Dhabi for the world’s best tennis players following a thrilling 2019 ATP Finals – and Mubadala World Tennis Championship ticket holders are in for a treat if the action in London is anything to go by.
The 2019 season ended in stunning style on Sunday night with Stefanos Tsitsipas taking the ATP Finals title after an end-of-season shoot-out featuring the top eight male players in the world. Three of that field will be in action again in the 12th edition of the Arabian Gulf’s most intimate tennis experience, from 19-21 December at Zayed Sports City, when Abu Dhabi’s International Tennis Centre once again brings the best of tennis and entertainment.
The eight-player line-up for the Mubadala World Tennis Championship 2019 will feature world No. 1 Rafael Nadal; world No. 2 Novak Djokovic and world No. 4 Daniil Medvedev, with three more male players to be announced in due course.
The six men will be joined by multiple Grand Slam champion Maria Sharapova, who will take on the latest women’s tennis sensation Amanda Anisimova on Day 1 of the championship at 8pm.
For the second year running, Day 1 has also been designated Kids’ Day, with FREE entry for children 12 and under! With autograph sessions, tennis clinics, player Q&As, and a host of fun, tennis-related activities and competitions offering great prizes, the Mubadala World Tennis Championship 2019 promises to be a fun day out for the family in a festival atmosphere.
