The exciting world of street racing is set to light up the NHRA accredited drag strip at Yas Marina Circuit on the 27-28th January for more wheel-spinning and rubber burning action in the second round of the series.
The Yas Super Street Challenge made a triumphant return in November for round one of the series as new categories for the 200m course in the Super Street Outlaw V6 and V8 were held and over 50 cars competed across six categories.
This year’s event will see drivers battling it out for a total prize pot of more than AED 360,000 up for grabs across the categories. Those that prove quickest off the line can win a range of cash prizes, with AED 5,000 going to those in third place, AED 10,000 for those in second, and the winner of each category will take home AED 15,000.
Spectators are invited to attend the track and must present a Green Al Hosn App with a negative PCR test within 96 hours of the race in order to take in the high-speed action at Yas Marina Circuit’s drag strip for this year’s Super Street Challenge.
