The Sheikh Zayed Festival put on a spectacular show for the UAE’s Golden Jubilee, entitled: “AStory of a Nation” using the latest drone technology and telling the story of the establishment of the country by the founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, and the founding fathers, in 1971.
The drones formed spectacular circular designs, each of which represented one of the seven Emirates, which then united as a whole to draw the map of the country. The drone imagery then displayed the most prominent achievements of the union up to the present day as the sky of Al Wathba shimmered with artistic designs of the Emirates “Hope Probe” mission and the journey to Mars, as well as the logo of EXPO2020 Dubai.
The drone show was part of the Festival’s activities for the UAE’s50th National Day celebrations, which started yesterday and continue until today and include huge fireworks displays and the Emirates Fountain, creating great interest for all visitors who enjoyed hundreds of events and activities, expressing their pride on this happy national occasion.
The Festival also presented a special event for the paramotors that carried the UAE’s flag and the emblem of “The Year of 50th” in the Festival sky between doors opening at 4 pm until 6 pm, and the entire Festival arena was decorated with the UAE flag and its colors, which were also reflected in the designs of decorations and lighting throughout the Festival events.
