After the success of UFC Fight Island™, Yas Island, Abu Dhabi’s premier leisure and entertainment hub, has introduced a special Stay & Play travel package for visitors to follow in the footsteps of their favourite fight stars.
Three events will take place during the course of seven days, from 16-24 January at Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, allowing a limited number of fans to watch the event live at the all-new Etihad Arena, the region’s largest multi-purpose arena. The first fight event of UFC FIGHT ISLAND Triple Header will take place on Saturday, 16 January, headlined by a featherweight bout between No.1 ranked Max Holloway and No.6 Calvin Kattar. On Wednesday, 20 January, Michael Chiesa takes on Neil Magny in a highly anticipated welterweight main event. Finally, closing out UFC Fight Island Triple Header is UFC 257, on Sunday, 24 January, and the return of the ‘notorious’ Conor McGregor in a rematch against Dustin Poirier.
During previous visits, the UFC’s biggest stars have enjoyed a plethora of Yas Island activities in between training, including a high-octane supercar track day and watersports such as kayaking and jet skiing. UAE residents and visitors will now be able to sample the same attractions with a specially curated travel itinerary, showcasing the best of the destination.
Visitors can book the “Stay & Play” Package with a hotel stay across selected Yas Island and Abu Dhabi hotels with theme park tickets, including Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld and Warner Bros. World™ Abu Dhabi. Guests can also choose to follow in the footsteps of the fighters at Yas Beach. The hotel stay includes complimentary access to Yas Beach, with add-ons to visit some of Abu Dhabi’s most impressive cultural attractions including Qasr Al Watan, Louvre Abu Dhabi and Qasr Al Hosn Abu Dhabi.
Prices for bookings made before 14 February 2021 start from AED 264.00 per person for a one-night stay in a standard double room at hotels in Yas Plaza (based on the assumption a double room is booked for two people). The stay includes breakfast and a 1-day general admission ticket to Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, per person. Other parks options are available and prices may vary depending on park selection.
