On Wednesday January 30th, The Galleria on Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi’s luxury shopping and dining destination, held a VIP ribbon cutting ceremony with HE Ni Jian, Chinese Ambassador to the UAE to mark the official start of Chinese New Year celebrations. The festivities will be open to the public this weekend and will continue from January 31st until February 2nd.
The ribbon cutting ceremony also featured private performances, including a traditional ribbon dance and Kung Fu demonstration, in The Galleria’s Great Room.
Visitors of all ages will enjoy an array of events on Al Maryah Island’s Waterfront Promenade from January 31st until February 1st, culminating in an astounding fireworks display on Friday at 9pm. Complementing the waterfront celebrations, The Galleria will host a wide range of activities this weekend from January 31st until February 2nd.
