Calling outdoor fitness enthusiasts and adventure seekers of all ages! The UAE’s biggest permanent obstacle course site, OCR Park, is now open on Hudayriyat Island in Abu Dhabi.
The 94,843sqm OCR Park merges together obstacle course racing and endurance fitness, with the latest in technology to create an innovative new fitness challenge. The park has been inspired by hands-on, functional cross training activities, that people need to adapt to whilst tackling man-made obstacles along the way.
Fun for all the family, OCR Park features both a 3km track for adults and a 1.5km track for children. In addition, OCR Park has been specifically designed to be accessible for people of determination, with dedicated classes available and specialist staff on site to assist.
Open seven days a week from 6am – 9pm, the OCR Park course tests participant’s physical strength, stamina, and mental boundaries, with challenges along the way that are demanding on both the body, as well as the mind. It features eight exciting obstacles and eight fitness stations for adults, and six obstacles for children which are stationed over varied and dynamic terrain. The obstacles are ever evolving in size, complexity and difficulty levels, and can vary depending on the type of event that is running.
The variety of obstacles creates new challenges and experiences each time participants take part in the course, be it through thrilling heights and climbs, adrenaline pumping jumps and rope swings, mentally challenging tasks, or long-distance endurance challenges. Each participant of the OCR Park course gets the opportunity to push their body to the limit and discover new levels of fitness endurance.

Health & safety measures will be in place to protect all visitors and participants, which include; hourly sanitization of all the equipment and multiple touchless hand sanitizers across the park. All visitors must wear a mask, maintain a physical distance of 2 meters and book their visit in advance. The maximum number of participants at any one time will be limited to 20 every 15 minutes, and there will also be reduced number of participants at any scheduled fitness class.
OCR Park is operated by premier Middle East sports agency, Sabco Sports, who are responsible for the hugely popular obstacle course race event, JEEP Tough Mudder throughout the UAE and Oman.
