In a dramatic opening exhibition round to kick off the F4UAE season, Charlie Wurz and Abu Dhabi Racing by Prema finished the weekend on top of the podium at Yas Marina Circuit on Sunday.
The Austrian, holding strong in pole position throughout the 25-minute race, set the pace with the fastest lap of 1:56.232 ahead of stablemates Conrad Laursen and Andrea Kimi Antonelli.
In a race filled with action, contacts between Hamda Al Qubaisi, Rik Koen, Dilano Van’t Hoff and Andrea Kimi Antonelli made for spectacular moments across the 25-session.
Dutchmen Koen and Van’t Hoff were forced to retire following their contact with rivals Al Qubaisi and Antonelli respectively, in a superb showcase that concluded the opening exhibition round before the first round of the 2022 F4UAE Championship begins on 14th January in Dubai.
