Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Falconers’ Club, the 23rd edition of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX 2026) kicked off today at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi. Running until 6 September 2026, this year’s edition is the largest and most extensive in the exhibition’s history since its launch in 2003.
Organised by ADNEC Group, a Modon company, in strategic partnership with the Emirates Falconers’ Club, the exhibition spans the full facilities of ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi for the first time and will run for ten consecutive days. The expansion reflects the event’s continued growth and the increasing demand from exhibitors and visitors from within the UAE and around the world.
Bringing together leading local and international companies, brands, specialists and enthusiasts under one roof, ADIHEX 2026 showcases the latest products, technologies and services across hunting, equestrian sports, falconry, camping and outdoor adventure sectors, alongside a rich programme of cultural and heritage activities that celebrate the depth, diversity and authenticity of Emirati traditions.
The exhibition features 15 diverse sectors, including falconry, equestrian sports, camels, saluki, hunting rifles and equipment, veterinary products and services, hunting tourism and safari, fishing equipment and marine sports, outdoor leisure vehicles and equipment, arts and crafts, and the preservation of the environment and cultural heritage, offering a diverse experience for visitors of all interests.
ADIHEX 2026 also presents an extensive line up of family-oriented activities and interactive experiences aligned with the UAE’s Year of Family initiative. A dedicated children’s zone offers educational and creative workshops, activities introducing young visitors to Emirati heritage and traditions, as well as interactive sessions focused on falcons, traditional crafts and heritage arts.
ADIHEX 2026 will continue welcoming visitors until 6 September, providing the public with the opportunity to enjoy its wide range of activities and discover a unique blend of heritage, cultural, entertainment and commercial experiences that reinforce Abu Dhabi’s position as a global hub for hunting, equestrianism, falconry and cultural heritage.
The 2026 edition also features eight specialised falcon auctions, one of the exhibition’s flagship attractions. Four auctions were held ahead of the event, while four more will take place during weekends throughout the exhibition. Open to participation both in person and online, the auctions offer falconry enthusiasts, owners and breeders from around the world the opportunity to acquire some of the world’s finest falcons, distinguished by their beauty and exceptional capabilities. The auctions serve as an important platform for supporting the falconry sector, enhancing its economic and cultural value
The specialised falcon auctions form a key feature of this year’s exhibition programme, attracting leading owners and breeders from the UAE and around the world. The auctions provide a trusted platform for showcasing premium falcons in accordance with the highest standards of quality and transparency, contributing to the advancement of falconry, and preserving its rich cultural legacy.
ADIHEX 2026 also features a rich cultural and entertainment programme celebrating the diversity of cultures and traditions from around the world. Highlights include performances by the Hungarian National Equestrian Theatre, African cultural showcases, Japanese Taiko drumming shows, and performances inspired by the cultures of South America. Visitors can also enjoy a variety of roaming entertainment and interactive performances across the exhibition venue, creating a vibrant and engaging atmosphere throughout the ten-day event.
Celebrating the UAE’s national identity, a dedicated area will showcase traditional Emirati crafts and cultural practices, including the preparation and serving of Arabic coffee, pottery making, palm frond weaving, embroidery and traditional games, alongside live cultural performances that reflect the authenticity and richness of the UAE’s heritage. The programme further reinforces the exhibition’s role as a meeting point for heritage, culture and the performing arts, while highlighting and preserving the enduring legacy of hunting and equestrian sports for future generations.
