Abu Dhabi Choral Group (ADCG) will perform Monty Python’sSpamalot, a Tony Award-winning musical comedy,at The Arts Center at NYU Abu Dhabi (NYUAD). The group will perform over four days, from Wednesday till Friday, May 31-June 2 at 7:30pm, and on Saturday, June 3 at 2:30 pm and 7:30 pm, at The Red Theatre.
Monty Python’s Spamalot offers a fun and modern take to the 1975 film ‘Monty Python and the Holy Grail’.Through lively music and dance performances, the musical retells the classic tale of King Arthur and his Knights of Camelot as they embark on an exciting quest.
Established in 1977, ADCG is the longest running amateur music group in the UAE that performs musical revues and fully-staged musicals. Now in its 45th season, the community theater troupe has staged over 75 shows to date. The group represents over 15 nationalities and languages spoken amongst its talented cast that range from first-time performers to seasoned veterans.
