Ball Kids Programme Gives UAE Youngsters Rare Chance To Mix With The World’s Best Players At The Mubadala World Tennis Championship

Children in the UAE can now sign up for a chance to play a major role in the Mubadala World Tennis Championship (MWTC), with registration open to become a Ball Kid at the event.

Aimed at children aged 12 to 17, the Mubadala World Tennis Championship Ball Kid Programme is operated by Zayed Sports Academy at the International Tennis Centre at Zayed Sports City. Those who are chosen to be a MWTC Ball Kid, will receive seven weeks specialised training on how to perfect the on-court craft.

The carefully chosen select group will contribute to keeping a world-class tennis Championship moving on court, with a star-studded line-up, which includes World No. 2 Rafael Nadal; World No. 4 Daniil Medvedev and five-time Grand Slam champion Maria Sharapova and Amanda Anisimova in the women’s match.

To register to be a ball kid at the 2019 Mubadala World Tennis Championship, visit @zscacademy on Instagram, or mubadalawtc.com.

Tickets start from AED 100 for Adults and are now on sale at www.ticketmaster.ae and Virgin Megastores across the UAE. 3 Day Packages are also available with savings of 20%. For the second year running, Day One is also Kids’ Day, with children 12 and under going FREE!

This year, the Championship has been brought forward from its traditional spot on the calendar by a week, allowing tennis fans and visitors to the UAE capital the opportunity to capitalise on the Championship’s festival atmosphere.
