Dr. Nama Salmeen AlAmeri, Dean of Abu Dhabi School of Government, said: “Commemoration Day is embedded in the memory of our nation. It is a glorious story written by the sacrifices of the United Arab Emirates’ heroes, who have given their lives to uphold the truth and to defend the oppressed.”
On this occasion of Commemoration Day, Dr. AlAmeri said: “Commemoration Day is an opportunity to remember that the achievements and successes of the UAE are built on a foundation of loyalty and belonging. The best nations are those that remember their heroes and honor their sacrifices. For without honor, nations would not rise. We raise our flag to the UAE’s martyrs, and we extend our appreciation to our sons and daughters who are the first line of defense, and who have dedicated themselves to fighting COVID-19. Through their efforts, they have helped to protect the health and safety of the UAE.”
AlAmeri added: “Today, we renew our pledge of loyalty to our wise leadership, and we build upon the great sacrifices of our martyrs. May God to have mercy on them and protect their families and inspire us with patience.”
