Yas Marina Circuit is celebrating this year’s Global Running Day with an exclusive track day for runners of all ages to get their miles in and test their fitness on 1st June.
Held in partnership with Abu Dhabi Sports Council, keen runners and families alike can head to Yas Marina Circuit to join in this year’s international running festivities, with prizes available as participants hit the track to set the fastest on foot lap times on the Yas Island circuit.
Starting from 6pm until 10pm on Wednesday 1st June, runners can take to the iconic Yas Marina Circuit track for a fun-filled evening of activity. Participants of all ages and abilities are encouraged to walk, run or even crawl as many laps as possible across the 5.28km Yas Island circuit in a celebration of health and fitness in Abu Dhabi.
Families with young athletes in strollers and people of determination are also welcomed to join in the festivities, with the evening billed as an event to embrace the joy of movement through testing their running abilities or even to get their daily steps in.
Entrants will walk away after an energizing workout with a number of exclusive giveaways and prizes, as Certificates and Commemorative t-shirts will be gifted to participants at the finish line, and timing trackers and refreshments will be readily available to support athletes completing an endurance-building training session and set the fastest lap on track.

Participants are required to present a 96-hour negative PCR test and a Green Al Hosn pass to enter this year’s event in line with local government requirements.
