Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) has welcomed passengers arriving from Kuwait, as well as those departing to Kuwait, with an assortment of traditional sweets, flags, symbolic gifts and other activities in celebration of Kuwait National Day.
The special Kuwait National Day activities are the result of Abu Dhabi Airports’ commitment to ensuring customer happiness and a seamless passenger experience. It also mark the close ties between the brotherly nations of the United Arab Emirates and the State of Kuwait.
Commenting on the celebration, Bryan Thompson, Chief Executive Officer of Abu Dhabi Airports, said: “We are delighted to be celebrating this special day for Kuwaiti nationals, and to have the opportunity to provide them with an exceptional and unforgettable travel experience at Abu Dhabi International Airport.”
“The close ties between the UAE and Kuwait are reflected by the amount of air traffic between both nations, and one of our main objectives is to make sure to provide these travellers with a seamless and enjoyable experience. We look forward to continuing to welcome our Kuwaiti neighbours to the UAE’s capital,” added Thompson.
