With the 13thedition of the Mubadala World Tennis Championship (MWTC) on the horizon and the countdown now officially on until this year’s star-studded player line-up takes to the court, fans have been served a treat while they wait thanks to Love Friday.
Spectators who purchase tickets this weekend (from Thursday 25 to Sunday 28 November inclusive), for the Arabian Gulf’s leading professional tennis experience, will automatically enter a draw to win a spot in a star player clinic.
Featuring three of the top 10 male players in the world: Andrey Rublev (No.5), Rafael Nadal (No.6), and Casper Ruud (No.8), in addition to Denis Shapovalov (No. 14) and Dominic Thiem (No. 15) as well as three-time Grand Slam winner and two-time MWTC champion Andy Murray, the line-up for this year’s Championship is one of the strongest in the event’s history.
Meanwhile, the much-anticipated women’s match between US Open champion Emma Raducanu and Tokyo Olympic singles gold medal winner Belinda Bencic will close an exciting Day 1 on 16December. With such a power-packed field, and a welcome return to full capacity, tickets are selling fast.
The limited Love Friday special promotion, MWTC’s tennis spin on the traditional White Friday weekend, is available from 25 – 28 November. Tickets, starting from AED 100 for adults and AED 50 for children, are available from ticketmaster.ae and Virgin Megastores across the UAE. In line with current protocols, measures will be in place within the stadium and throughout the Tennis Village to ensure the health and safety of fans, players, and officials.
Additionally, in line with the latest government guidelines the Championship will welcome fans and spectators with green status on the Al Hosn app and a negative PCR test result with 96-hour validity across three days of exciting tennis action, in a safe and secure environment.
