The region’s biggest celebration of pop culture is back! Middle East Film & Comic Con (MEFCC) will return to ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi from 11 – 13 September 2026, uniting global entertainment icons, immersive fan experiences and thousands of passionate fans across one unforgettable weekend.
Kicking things off with the first celebrity reveal of many: Mackenyu, the internationally acclaimed actor known for playing Roronoa Zoro in Netflix’s live-action One Piece, will be climbing aboard MEFCC’s all-star lineup. Fans will have a whole wave of opportunities to meet Mackenyu through exclusive photo opportunities, autograph sessions and live speaking appearances.
Tickets are now on sale starting from AED 160, and more A-Listers, creators and anime icons will be unveiled in the coming weeks as MEFCC sets course towards its biggest edition yet. Already announced are the first three artists joining its Comic Creators Club, Jim Cheung, Frederico Vicentini and Brett Beeding. Their award-winning works have defined iconic heroes and storylines including The Avengers, Amazing Spider-Man, Wolverine and The Death of Superman.
Beyond the star studded guest line up, MEFCC will once again transform ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi into the ultimate destination for pop culture fans. With over 12 attractions across the show floor, attendees can enjoy live entertainment and fan competitions on the Festival Stage, immerse themselves in anime, K-Pop and Asian pop culture within the Otaku District, and explore dedicated play spaces including the Gaming Arena, Tabletop Zone and TCG Arena.
Fans can also discover incredible independent artists in the ever popular Artist Alley, celebrate creativity through the renowned MEFCC Cosplay Competition, take part in interactive workshops and panels, shop exclusive merchandise and collectibles, browse comics and memorabilia, and enjoy a packed programme of entertainment and family friendly experiences throughout the weekend.
