Yas Island is going Bavarian this October as Yas Plaza Hotels hosts Yas Island’s biggest Oktoberfest celebration from 22 to 24 October 2026, turning Central Plaza by Stills at Crowne Plaza Yas Island into a three-night open-air festival of traditional food, live music and entertainment.
From 6:30 PM to 11:30 PM each evening, Central Plaza will take on the spirit of Oktoberfest with communal tables, a generous spread of German favourites, live performances and activities unfolding across the outdoor setting.
The menu is reason enough to arrive hungry. Guests can start with warm Bretzeln served with grain and German mustard, traditional Kartoffelsalat with pickles and onions, and Gurkensalat with dill and sour cream, before moving on to heartier dishes including rotisserie chicken with roasted potatoes and gravy, veal schnitzel with braised red cabbage, and slow-smoked beef brisket served with Käsespätzle and pickled mustard.
The feast continues through dessert, with warm apfelstrudel and vanilla sauce, Black Forest cake with cherries and cream, and Bavarian crème with berry compote among the sweet finishes on offer.
Setting the celebrations in motion will be an opening ceremony, before the evening moves into a programme of entertainment and festival activities across Central Plaza. Downtown Stage will return following last year’s appearance, travelling from Germany to perform across all three nights and bringing live music into the heart of the festivities.
Together, the food, entertainment and outdoor setting will bring the lively spirit of Oktoberfest to Yas Island, creating three evenings made for families, groups of friends, hotel guests and visitors to gather and enjoy.
The celebration will take place at the heart of Yas Plaza Hotels, where six hotels, restaurants and leisure spaces come together. With so much happening across the hotels and Yas Island just beyond, Oktoberfest can easily become more than just an evening out, whether guests stay for dinner, make a night of it or turn it into a full weekend. Admission is AED 200 per person, fully redeemable on food and beverages, while children under six can join free of charge.
